The Indian Central Criminal Investigation Department has revealed that among these three people who are in their 30s, Amila Nuvan has five murder cases, Kasun Kumara Sanka has 04 murder cases, and Ranga Prasad of Colombo area has 02 murder cases.

It has been revealed that these criminals, who sneaked into India via Rameswaram in a fishing boat in the first week of August, have reached Bangalore by land route. They were accommodated in a rented flat in the city by 42-year-old Jai Paramesh, now out on bail after being charged with murder.

Police seized 53 items including 13 mobile phones from the arrested Sri Lankans.

Jai Paramesh, who sheltered the three, has also been arrested on charges of harboring a criminal and involvement in criminal conspiracy.

In this regard, the Indian Central Crime Investigation Bureau has also registered a case at the Yelahanka Police Station.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) SD Sharanappa has said that these three Sri Lankans who entered India illegally through the Rameswaram route could be Sri Lanka’s most wanted criminals.
