Yesterday, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the opposition leader, went to his home in Dambane to inquire about the well-being of the mother of Antare convener Wasantha Mudalige, who has been kept under summons for more than 50 days.
There, the opposition leader has come to know from the neighbors that due to the current situation, relatives including Wasantha Mudalige’s mother have left the house in Dambane.
It is also learned that the neighbors have informed the opposition leader that they do not know where the relatives of the family are.
It is also reported that during a series of meetings held in the Mahiyangana area yesterday, the opposition leader went to the Dambana area.
