The Cabinet has been informed about the financial facility provided to Sri Lanka by the International Monetary Fund.
It is reported that a group of representatives of the International Monetary Fund who participated in the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday afternoon (10) through Zoom technology have made the awareness.
In view of the economic crisis in the country, the International Monetary Fund has reached a preliminary agreement to provide a financial facility of 2.9 billion dollars.
The representatives of the International Monetary Fund informed the Cabinet regarding the financial contribution, and the ministers also had the opportunity to present their problems.
