The three suspects, including attorneys Rakhitha Rajapaksa and Charith Abeysinghe, who are currently in remand custody on suspicion of accepting a bribe of Rs. 120 million to facilitate the safe transfer of underworld gang leader “Harak Kata” to another prison, are scheduled to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court again today.
The complaint is scheduled to be taken up before the Colombo Chief Magistrate today.
Meanwhile, a report on the investigations conducted so far by the Bribery Commission is also scheduled to be presented to the court.
