The Central Bank of Sri Lanka states that the gross official reserves of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka have decreased to the level of 1.8 billion US dollars.
The Central Bank also says that this includes the US$1.4 billion foreign exchange facility obtained from the People’s Bank of China.
Accordingly, only 400 million dollars can be used.
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka also says that according to the calculations made at the end of September, this amount of official reserves was there.
