40,000-Signature Petition Presented to Sajith Premadasa Seeking Speedy Justice for Child Abuse Complaints

A petition containing 40,000 signatures was presented today to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs in Parliament, including Ms. Tush Wickramanayake, calling for speedy justice for unresolved child abuse complaints. Sri Lanka Latest News

The petition was signed by Samagi Jana Balawegaya MPs Chamindrani Kiriella and Rohini Kaviratne, along with several other MPs representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and Samagi Jana Sandhana.

Earlier, members of the #40,000 group met with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa at the Opposition Leader’s Office and briefed him regarding the matter.
