Colombo DIG Nishantha de Silva stated that Interpol has issued Red Notices against 226 Sri Lankans.
The DIG further revealed that there are 93 identified underworld criminals currently active.
He also noted that among the underworld criminals against whom Red Notices have been issued, 35 individuals have been brought back to the country during 2025 and 2026.
