The Sri Lanka Mobile Phone Importers and Dealers Association states that the prices of mobile phones and related accessories in the local market are expected to increase sharply due to the depreciation of the Sri Lankan rupee.
According to the association, the prices of mobile phones and accessories are likely to rise by 20% to 25% in the coming period.
