US Dollar Selling Rate Exceeds Rs. 331 for First Time in Two Years

The buying and selling prices of the US dollar have reached their highest levels in two years, with the selling price surpassing 331 Sri Lankan rupees for the first time since December 5, 2023.

According to the daily exchange rate announcement issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka today (15), the buying price of a US dollar has been recorded at 323.53 rupees, while the selling price has been recorded at 331.15 rupees.

This marks the first time since December 5, 2023, that the buying price of a dollar has exceeded 323 rupees and the selling price has reached 331 rupees.

On December 5, 2023, the buying price of the dollar was recorded at 323 rupees, while the selling price stood at 333.20 rupees.
