President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has reportedly decided to appoint a new interim management committee to oversee cricket administration ahead of the upcoming May Day.
According to reliable sources, following the President’s decision, the current officials of the Cricket Association are preparing to resign within the next week.
Sources further state that the resignations are expected to take place next Tuesday or Wednesday.
Thereafter, the President is expected to take steps to appoint a new interim management committee.
It is also reported that several rounds of crucial discussions have been held over the past few days regarding this matter.
