Sri Lanka has reached a political-level agreement with Russia to commence oil supplies from mid-April, amid ongoing energy disruptions in the country, Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake told Russia’s TASS news agency.
While technical and financial details are still being finalised, Rathnayake noted that “almost everything has been done” at the political level.
