The leader of the Tamil Progressive Alliance, Parliamentarian Mano Ganesan, along with a delegation of party members, met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (02).
During the meeting, the delegation extensively discussed the education, housing, and land issues affecting the Malayai community, highlighting the urgent measures needed to address them. The President gave special attention to all these concerns.
The discussion also focused on the urgent recruitment of qualified Tamil medium teachers to address the shortage in schools in the hill regions.
Members of Parliament P. Digambaram, V. Radhakrishnan, and several party members were present at the meeting.
