Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Sri Lanka, Major General K. W. Jayaweera. During his visit, he also participated in the inauguration of the “Indo-Lanka Wisdom Corner” at the DSCSC Library.
Addressing the academic staff and student officers, General Dwivedi discussed the evolving global security landscape and the changing nature of modern warfare, focusing on its practical implications. Emphasizing the vital role of the Armed Forces in nation-building, he highlighted the importance of integrating specialized and emerging technologies into military operations. He further encouraged student officers to continuously develop their professional skills to become capable and effective leaders.
