Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne issued an extraordinary gazette notification last night (12) summoning Parliament on December 18, according to the latest updates from Sri Lanka.
The notification states that Parliament will convene on Thursday, December 18, at 9:30 a.m., in accordance with Standing Order 16 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, following a request by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.
