After the government took steps to reclaim all official residences previously occupied by former presidents, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who had been living at the Carlton Mansion in Tangalle, has decided to return to Colombo, Sri Lanka Latest News reports.
It is reported that the former President, who visited a house near Colombo last week, poured milk there as a ritual for good luck.
Sources further reveal that, after temporarily withdrawing from political activities following his move to the Tangalle Mansion, the former President is preparing to resume his political engagements upon his return to Colombo.
