According to the results, the budget draft received 8 votes in favour and 9 votes against.
The Naula Pradeshiya Sabha was secured by the National People’s Power at the recent local government elections.
At that time, the Pradeshiya Sabha, consisting of 18 members, was evenly split with 9 members representing the National People’s Power and 9 representing the opposition.
