Ambassador Mahinda Samarasinghe called on the newly appointed Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) at the U.S. Department of State, Dr. Paul Kapur, on 12th November 2025.
During the meeting, Ambassador Samarasinghe also met with Deputy Assistant Secretary Ms. Bethany Poulos Morrison.
Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Madhuka Wickramachchi, Counsellor Ms. Chathuri Perera, and Defence Advisor Commodore Dumindu Abeywickrama accompanied His Excellency the Ambassador to the meeting.
