Post Budget Seminar 2026 by National Chamber: Key Insights for the Business Community

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka is set to host its highly anticipated Post Budget Seminar 2026 on 11th November 2025, from 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 noon at the National Chamber Auditorium.

Following the official announcement of the National Budget 2026 by H.E. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on 7th November 2025, this seminar will provide the business community with in-depth analysis and expert insights into the policy implications on various industries and the way forward of the economy.

The session will feature renowned experts, policymakers, and industry leaders, namely, Prof. Sirimal Abeyratne– Emeritus Professor of Economics, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka & Executive Director, Centre for Poverty Analysis (CEPA), Colombo; Dr. M. Kapila Senanayake – Director General – Department of Fiscal Policy Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development; Mr Hasitha Raddella– Partner – Tax & Regulatory KPMG in Sri Lanka; An Expert from the Inland Revenue Department and Mr. Ruwan Fernando – Council Member, National Chamber.

The session will be moderated by Mr. Nandika Buddhipala, Former Chief Financial Officer, Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, and Past President of the National Chamber.

Participants will gain valuable insights into taxation, policy changes, trade, investment opportunities, and economic forecasts. The session will also include an interactive Q&A segment, offering attendees the chance to seek expert guidance on post-budget implications for their businesses.
