The Global Sumud flotilla has reported explosions and communications jamming as drones hovered overhead, early on Wednesday morning.
Israel has promised to stop the Gaza-bound Flotilla, claiming that the vessels are trying to “breach a lawful naval blockade”.
Drones have been spotted above and near Flotilla vessels sailing in the Mediterranean Sea since Sunday night.

UN rights expert calls for immediate protection for Sumud flotilla
Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, has called for “Immediate international attention AND PROTECTION” for the Sumud flotilla, in posts shared on X.
Albanese, who has been following the fleet’s movements closely, noted that the ships had been attacked at least seven times “in a short span.”
“Boats hit with sound bombs, explosive flares, and sprayed with suspected chemicals. Radios jammed, calls for help blocked,” she said
