People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Challenge T20 League Tournament 2025 was successfully held at the Koddaimunai Sports Village in Batticaloa, bringing together staff members from across the country in a spirited display of sportsmanship and team unity.
K.G.P. Fighters won the tournament and were crowned champions, while PB Gladiators finished as runners-up. Colombo Challengers came in third and Dumbara Strikers took fourth place. Eranga Kumara from PB Gladiators was named Best Batsman, and Milan Kashalya, also from PB Gladiators, received the Best Bowler award.
The tournament was played over eight days with eight teams in two groups. A total of 16 matches, including the final, were played, with 120 staff members.
The final match was attended by Clive Fonseka, CEO/General Manager of People’s Bank, along with members of the Bank’s Corporate and Executive Management, showing the Bank’s strong support for staff engagement and wellbeing through sports.
