The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has urged the public to use water sparingly, citing a limited supply of drinking water due to the ongoing dry weather conditions affecting the country.
According to the Board, water levels in key sources are steadily decreasing as a result of the prolonged dry spell. At the same time, the soaring temperatures have led to increased water consumption by the public, further straining the available supply.
In an official statement, the Board emphasized the importance of conserving water and strongly requested the public to avoid using water for non-essential purposes during this period.
