A special session of Parliament has been scheduled for Monday, the 30th of this month, in accordance with parliamentary regulations.
The session has been convened by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. However, the agenda for the day has not yet been officially disclosed.
Political observers suggest that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to deliver a special statement during the session.
