Following the results of the recent local government elections, the opposition, led by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), has gained control of the Kebithigolleva Pradeshiya Sabha, where they hold a clear majority.
In line with the outcome, Ranasinghe Wanigasekeralag Dharmadasa, the SJB candidate who secured the majority vote, was officially elected as the Chairman of the Kebithigolleva Pradeshiya Sabha today.
