MLMML is set to electrify the Sri Lankan market with Evolution Auto (Pvt) Ltd as its authorised distributor.

Multiple dealerships inaugurated, with many more planned in the coming days.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) and India’s No.1 commercial EV manufacturer, has signed an agreement with Evolution Auto (Pvt) Ltd for sales commencement in Sri Lanka. Evolution Auto, a joint venture between SLA Mobility and Sensai Group, will be the authorised distributor for MLMML EVs.
MLMML, a pioneer in EV technology, has sold more than two lakh commercial EVs in India. Mahindra has spearheaded the EV penetration, to more than 24% in the L5 auto category, in India – a number that was in single digits a couple of years ago. MLMML through Evolution Auto will electrify the Sri Lankan commercial transport market with the Mahindra Treo Auto, Treo Plus, Treo Zor PU and Treo Zor DV.
Evolution Auto inaugurated the first flagship showroom for MLMML products at “Peliyagoda” (Colombo Negombo Rd). Present at the inauguration were MLMML Managing Director and CEO Ms. Suman Mishra, Evolution Auto’s Board members Mr. Bob and Dhiren Kundanmal, Mr. Charaka Perera, Mr. Nassar Hammad, Mr. Maas Ramil Mohamed, and Group CEO Mr. Virann De Zoysa and COO Mr. Zaharan Ziyawudeen.
In addition, Sri Lankan customers can buy the Mahindra EVs via 3S networks in Gampaha, Ratnapura, Moneragala and Badulla. There are also more dealerships planned in the coming days.
