The Pond’s Women’s Cyber Games 2025, powered by Anchor Newdale, organised by Gamer.LK, concluded successfully at One Galle Face Mall, Colombo, bringing together Sri Lanka’s top female gamers and celebrating their talents across multiple game titles in a high-energy LAN setting. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of supporters, with spectators showing immense excitement and encouragement for the athletes throughout the day. Positive reactions and strong community backing reflected the growing impact of the event on the female gaming landscape in the country.

The competition featured intense matchups across various titles, with standout performances from some of Sri Lanka’s rising female Esports athletes. Rooman ‘BLACKFYRE’ Doole secured victory in FC 25, while Shanuli ‘CAKEPLAYS’ Withanarachchi claimed the top spot in Beat Saber. Dhushmanthi ‘BOT DHUSHI’ Saubhagya and Thakshila ‘EZE TASHI’ Nayomi took first place in the Free Fire Clash Squad (2v2) competition.

Sajitha ‘PURPLECAT’ Samarakoon claimed the League of Legends title. In Mobile Legends, the team consisting of Kavindhya ‘CLEMENTINE’ Madhubhashini, Gimhani ‘TIANA’ Thashmila, Hiruni ‘HIRU’ De Silva, Sithmini ‘LUNATIC’ Vishma, Yasara ‘YASARA’ Samarathunga, Shanaz ‘MIDNIGHT’ Dilum and Sandami ‘CRYSTAL’ Dankoluwa from Xiphos Esports secured first place. Senumi ‘SENU’ Ekanayake emerged victorious in Valorant. Both the PUBG MOBILE Duo Battle Royale and TDM (2v2) titles were won by Sapna ‘DNT DIONE’ Hafeel and Jineesha ‘DDX JINIGZ’ Sathsarani.

Adding to the excitement, the cosplay segment featured over 30 female participants, bringing colour and creativity to the event. Siyumi Imanduwa earned top honours for her portrayal of Hiccup, impressing both judges and spectators.

Xiphos Esports was awarded the Best Clan Award – the highest honour of the tournament – in recognition of their collective talent, determination, and consistent performance across multiple titles. The Pond’s Hydrated MVP award was presented to Ayothma ‘LVG ZINKY’ Sadani from LVG Esports for her outstanding display of skill and consistency throughout the event.

Pond’s served as the Title Sponsor and Anchor Newdale powered the event, both playing a key role in supporting the tournament’s success and championing the growth of female participation in Esports.

Pond’s was proud to partner with Women’s Cyber Games Sri Lanka – a pioneering platform empowering female gamers to showcase their skills and break barriers in the gaming world. This collaboration reflected Pond’s core belief that women don’t have to fit the norm to be extraordinary. Just as every gamer brings a unique edge to the arena, every woman’s skin has its own story and needs, with Pond’s providing a range of face care products made to perform and deliver results. With their Super Light Gel, Pond’s offers skincare that goes beyond the ordinary – light, fresh, and hydrating, designed for those who dare to break the mold and glow in their own way.

Anchor Newdale powered this year’s tournament as part of its commitment to nurturing the next generation of gamers. Its range of cultured products, enriched with DR20 probiotics, and nutrient-packed flavoured milk kept participants energised and focused throughout the event. By promoting gut health – closely linked to cognitive performance – Anchor Newdale supported athletes in staying sharp and competing at their best.

With strong performances, growing participation, and overwhelming community support, the 2025 edition of the Women’s Cyber Games set a new benchmark for female-focused Esports events in Sri Lanka, further cementing Gamer.LK’s role in shaping an inclusive future for the sport.
