At a ceremony held at the Sirikotha party headquarters to appoint constituency organizers, presided over by UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, a protest erupted against Rajitha Senaratne.
A visibly angry Wickremesinghe was seen instructing his organizers to remain seated and refrain from speaking.
Despite his directives, the organizers continued their protest and eventually walked out of the venue.
