Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe held discussions with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on the sidelines of the 8th Indian Ocean Summit in Oman.
Sri Lanka is represented at the summit by Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships within the Indian Ocean region. Additionally, regional cooperation and maritime security were key topics of discussion.
