PUCSL to Announce Final Decision on Electricity Tariff Revision by CEB on January 17, 2025

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has announced that it will deliver its final decision on the proposed electricity tariff revision by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) on January 17, 2025.

In an official statement, the PUCSL confirmed that public consultations regarding the tariff revision proposal, applicable for the period from January to June 2025, will commence on December 17, 2024.

Stakeholders and the general public are invited to submit written comments until January 8, 2025. Additionally, oral comments will be gathered during nine scheduled sessions.

Written feedback can be submitted via email at [email protected], through WhatsApp at 076 427 1030, or by post to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka.

The PUCSL encourages active public participation to ensure a transparent and inclusive decision-making process.
