Key appointments to the Constituent Assembly have been finalized.
MP Abu Bakar Atambawa has been designated as the representative for the ruling party. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa will represent the opposition, with Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Ajith P. Perera serving as his delegate.
Additionally, MP Sridharan of the Ilangai Tamil Arasu Katchi Party has been appointed to represent minority parties.
With these appointments in place, only the representative of the President remains to be named to complete the Constituent Assembly.
