Dr. Samitha Perera, Chairman of Lanka Sathosa, has announced that coconuts priced at Rs. 130 per nut and rice allocated for market distribution will be available at Sathosa outlets starting this afternoon (05).
According to Dr. Perera, customers will be able to purchase up to three coconuts and five kilograms of rice per individual.
These items will be accessible at Sathosa branches in and around Colombo from today, while outlets outside Colombo will begin offering them tomorrow (06).
“Coconuts are currently being dispatched to Sathosa branches in the Colombo area and will reach these outlets by evening. Similarly, Nadu rice will be delivered to the branches by this afternoon,” Dr. Perera stated.
