Journalists today raised questions to Cabinet Media Spokesman Mr. Vijitha Herath regarding allegations that a former minister had taken home Rs. 3.1 billion in cash while facilitating the procurement of 500 buses for the state-owned transport service, Lanka Ashok Leyland (Langama).
In response, Mr. Herath stated that an investigation will be launched to look into the matter.
