In the past two days, two government vehicles have been reported missing, accompanied by a public request to return the vehicles and a contact number for anyone with information regarding their whereabouts.
Yesterday, a government-owned vehicle bearing the official government logo was found abandoned on the premises of the Homagama Hospital. Today, another government vehicle was discovered deserted on Weerasinghe Mawatha in Beliatte.
The vehicle found in Beliatte was previously used by a former vice-chairman of the Tangalle local council. Additionally, it has been reported that this individual is a candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections from the Hambantota district.
