President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has directed the Ministry of Finance to ensure that all pensioners receive the monthly interim allowance of 3,000 rupees starting next week.
According to a statement from the President’s Media Division, the President reviewed the status of the interim allowance and took necessary actions to address the issue.
During a meeting held yesterday (10) afternoon at the President’s Office, President Dissanayake, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, provided these instructions.
