Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today appointed Dr. Chamal Sanjeeva, a specialist in hospital administration, to the position of Ratmalana Organizer for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
Dr. Sanjeeva is well-known for exposing key corruption scandals involving former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, as well as other politicians and officials linked to serious misconduct in the health sector, leading to legal action against them.
Dr. Sanjeeva holds multiple doctorate degrees in hospital administration, public administration, and business management, in addition to his specialized medical qualification in hospital administration from Sri Lanka. He has also earned a doctorate in health economics and business management, positioning him within the second-tier leadership team of the SJB.
