Mr. Lakshman Nipunarachchi, the next in line on the Colombo district list, is set to be appointed as a Member of Parliament, filling the vacancy left by Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Nipunarachchi is the designated successor following Dissanayake’s departure.
