It is learned that this decision was taken during a special discussion between the President, the Prime Minister and Minister Prasanna Ranatunga yesterday.
Accordingly, the President has planned to appoint 35 state ministers.
However, in this discussion held yesterday, it was first decided to appoint these state ministers before today’s budget voting.
