Over the past few days, some groups operating from Colombo have been spreading false information about the candidate who is leading the presidential election.
At the same time, the tube channels run by various groups had taken steps to bring up various candidates by presenting false survey information.
However, a large number of people participated in the 3 rallies headed by Mr Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition today, revealing to the country that all the information spread in that way is false.
Those were the 3 general meetings held in Ampara, Wellawaya and Tangalle cities.
