28th August 2024 – Thusharika Anthony, a celebrated poet and employee at Publicis Groupe Sri Lanka, proudly announces the release of her latest poetry book “Hadisiyema Ho Hemi Hemin” (හදිසියෙම හෝ හෙමි හෙමින්).
In her latest work, Thusharika provides the readers with a magnified view of cutthroat emotions. “Hadisiyema Ho Hemi Hemin” (හදිසියෙම හෝ හෙමි හෙමි න්) Thusharika has crafted a compelling anthology that explores the human emotion through a series of eloquent poems. The book serves as a testament to the transformative power of poetry, reflecting emotional evolution. The inspiration behind Hadisiyema ho hemin hemin” (හදිසියෙම හෝ හෙමි හෙමි න්) is deeply rooted in common human experiences. Faced with the daily challenges of household responsibilities and the demanding role of being a caring mum, Thusharika found solace in writing. Despite the hurdles of managing a household and raising children, her commitment to writing remained unwavering.
Her poems emerged as a sanctuary where she could channel her emotions and reflect on her experiences. “Writing has always been a way for me to navigate and understand my feelings,” Thusharika explains. “This book is a culmination of those moments when words became my hiding place.”

Her first book “Uthurayanna Ganga, Mama Kamathi Pokunata” (උතුරා යන්න ගඟ, මම කැමති පොකුණට) was released in 2018 and her second book “Simbimi Kaluwara Premayen” (සිඹිමි කළුවර ප්රේමයෙන්) was released in 2020.
