Manusha Nanayakkara demands that the government to take swift action against the Mawrata newspaper and website.
This proposal was reportedly made by Manusha Nanayankara at the government parliamentarian group meeting held yesterday at the president’s house.
Minister further stated that this was an inside job by someone because even the topics addressed at the current government’s parliamentarian meeting were published on the Mawrata news web.
He pointed out that the Prime Minister is familiar with the newspaper’s and websites’ editors.
The opposition leader Sajith Premada’s dedicated website, Mawrta, attacks the prime minister and publishes news to tie him up with the presidents.
However, neither the Prime Minister nor the President reacted to these remarks.
