Dr. Harsha de Silva said that the government is preparing to bring the online bill on the 24th with the aim of stopping social networks such as Facebook and WhatsApp to win votes, and that this bill will be suspended in the first week of a Sajaba government.
He pointed out that if this is the case, companies like Google and YouTube will refrain from doing business in Sri Lanka.
Therefore, he informed the government to refrain from bringing this draft.
