Mahela Jayawardena, the former Sri Lankan cricket captain and former coaching consultant of the national cricket team, has participated with the Sri Lankan delegation that went to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai. Sri Lanka Latest News

Mahela Jayawardena also sat there with the Sri Lankan delegation at the conference held in Dubai.

This feature was held under the chairmanship of President Ranil Wickramasinghe.

Mr. Mahela Jayawardena was in the delegation of the President, but he had received separate funds for the trip, a spokesperson of the President’s Office had told Mbadhya.

However, Mahela Jayawardena has stated that she is not part of the President’s delegation, but she participated in the ceremony held by the Sri Lankan delegation.
