Professor Ranjith Bandara also said that if the government deviates from the goals of the Podujana Peramuna, there may be a conflict.
He said that if someone says that the country is in a very good condition, that is because the government has not yet started paying the debt and the country should face the situation after the debt payment has started.
Professor Ranjith Bandara said this at a press conference held at the headquarters of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna at Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla.
He said that the alliance of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna with the government is only an unconditional obligation to protect the state and that if the government deviates from the objectives of the Podujana Peramuna, it may have to clash with the government.
Mr. Ranjith Bandara said that if the government’s performance conflicts with the goals of the Podujana Peramuna party, it may come into conflict and he also mentioned that the government protects the state and also has to act for the needs and wants of the vast majority of the people of this country.
