Peradeniya University Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Media Spokesperson Professor W.M. Terence Madhujith says it’s a penny.

“It is true that the faculty left the university and went abroad. This situation has mainly affected the faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Science and Dentistry.

In the 16 months from January last year to May this year, 70 leading doctors and professors of the University of Peradeniya completely left the university and went abroad. A large number of people have gone abroad on study leave,” says Professor Terence Madhujith, commenting on this situation.
