The government’s domestic debt restructuring plan will be discussed in the ‘finance committee’ beginning tomorrow  for two days, with the opposition leader participating as an observer  I Sri Lanka Latest News

The government has decided to submit the government’s domestic debt restructuring proposal to the Parliament’s Finance Committee, which will be held tomorrow and the day after. Sri Lanka Latest News

This matter is to be discussed in the finance committee meeting chaired by its chairman Dr. Harsha de Silva.

However, due to the fact that a big controversy has arisen within the country regarding the restructuring of the local debt, the opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has also decided to participate in this finance committee meeting, sources say.

Accordingly, it is reported that the leader of the opposition has decided to participate in the finance committee meeting and observe the activities going on both tomorrow and the next day.

Apart from this, it is also known that many other members of the opposition have already requested permission to participate
