Attorney at law , Udaya Gammanpila said that no flawed bill like the Central Bank Bill has been submitted to Parliament.
He pointed out that the Supreme Court had sent a 54-page report to the Parliament, but some official had given the wrong advice to the Speaker that it could be passed by a simple majority.
He also said that this draft has not been drafted in the Law Drafting Department, it has been prepared and sent from somewhere else, and how much money has been spent on it should be disclosed.
