It has been stated in the report showing the performance of the external sector for the month of February this year that the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka released on the 31st that the garment export income is decreasing.
According to the report, the garment export income in February of last year was 496.4 million dollars and in February of this year it has dropped to 431.3 million dollars.
The report further states that in the two months of January and February of 2022, 1012.5 million dollars have been earned in garment exports and that situation has decreased by 15.5 percent in the first two months of this year
