China has officially informed that it will provide its support for the restructuring of external debt taken by Sri Lanka.
The foreign media mentions that at the same time, the main obstacle to Sri Lanka getting the extended financial facility expected from the International Monetary Fund will be removed.
The reports further state that Sri Lanka’s main bilateral creditor, China, has informed it on March 6 through the country’s Export-Import Bank.
