Says no to the call !
Vasudeva Nanayakkara, a member of parliament for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), said today that the government’s request to attend the group meeting tomorrow was denied.
He told the media that he received a phone call yesterday inviting him to the team meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow (26) at 3 p.m. at the Ministry of Finance’s new building auditorium.
A lady called and asked me to come to the team meeting. When I inquired about the group meeting, the person who spoke stated that it was organized by the ruling party. The Prime Minister and President will preside over the meeting.” He stated.
