The Election Commission says that postal voting in the local government elections will be held on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Election Commissioner General Mr. Saman Sri Ratnayake said that the reserved packets containing the postal ballots will be handed over to the post office on the 15th.
In the meantime, he also stated that the delivery of official voter cards will be done on the 19th.
The gazette notification related to holding the local government election on March 9 was also released recently.
