Today (04) from 3.45 pm to 11.00 pm, the Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about strong lightning.
In Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western, North-West, South and Uva provinces and Anuradhapura district there is a high possibility of strong lightning with thundershowers at places.
The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
